Midwest winters are notoriously unpredictable, 60 degrees one day, subzero the next. For a large-scale outdoor event like Winterfest, reliable heat isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s mission-critical.
The Gateway Arch Park Foundation needed a heating solution that could:
They didn’t want teams checking fuel levels, swapping tanks, or worrying whether heaters would keep up with demand. They needed a system that simply worked.
As with every project, Green2Go designed a solution tailored to the specific challenges of Winterfest. To meet the Foundation’s needs, we provided propane heaters, our Smart Fuel System, and on-site fuel management to ensure heat was available whenever needed. This fully managed approach allowed event staff to simply set a thermostat and trust the system to perform. The heaters were discreetly hidden out of sight, with ducting strategically built into the floor of the Lodge, keeping guests and staff comfortable without compromising the visual experience of the event.
Green2Go’s Smart Fuel System, paired with on-site fuel management, eliminated the need for constant oversight by event staff. We monitored usage and minimized fuel waste when heat wasn’t needed, reducing fuel deliveries and overall consumption, saving thousands in the process. By removing the burden of equipment management, the Winterfest team was free to focus on the guest experience.
