CLIENT NEEDS

In January 2025, a series of catastrophic wildfires swept through Southern California, particularly affecting Los Angeles and San Diego counties. A nationally recognized insurance company faced a pressing challenge: how to maintain operational continuity across multiple mobile claims centers and relief shelters in regions devastated by fire. The stakes were high. In many of the hardest-hit areas, the electrical grid was down, the air thick with smoke, and temperatures dangerously elevated.

For our client, the inability to deliver power and climate control to their mobile units meant they couldn't serve policyholders in desperate need. Without a dependable energy solution, critical claims processing operations risked grinding to a halt, delaying recovery for families and communities already in crisis.

PROJECT DETAILS

Green2Go delivered a fleet of propane-powered HVAC generators tailored for rapid deployment in wildfire-stricken areas. These units provided consistent power and climate control for National Insurance Co.’s mobile claims centers and relief shelters. Green2Go’s solution empowered National Insurance Co. to focus on what mattered most, helping communities recover.

In addition to delivering equipment, Green2Go provided on-site technical support and rapid response servicing to ensure uninterrupted power during fluctuating field conditions. Our team coordinated closely with emergency personnel and the client’s operations staff to identify optimal placement of units, maintain air quality standards, and support 24/7 claims processing. The adaptability and reliability of Green2Go’s solutions played a vital role in restoring essential services and preserving public trust at a time of intense need.

“Wildfires don’t give you a heads-up; you have to be ready to act immediately. Our client reached out on January 10, 2025, about setting up a response site in Pasadena, California. Within a day, they had secured a leased lot, and by January 14, our team was on-site, tents going up. By nightfall, the location was fully operational. Moving that fast, especially across the country from St. Louis, shows how committed our crew is. That Pasadena site is still running today, and we’ve since added wildfire response locations in Santa Monica and Palisades.” - Jim Bailey, Operations Manager
